Twenty-five buses were prepared for 750 seats. The operation was completed on 31 October, and no shelling was reported during the ceasefire. Several hundred people trapped in the partly destroyed Oleshky were able to reach Ukrainian-government-controlled territory. The Ukrainian and Russian sides did not publicly disclose how many evacuees went to Russia or to Ukraine. Before the ceasefire, Ukrainian forces said they had expanded their firing area, pushed back Russian troops and disrupted Russian logistics on the left bank of Kherson Oblast.
