Russia launched a large combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine during the night of November 6–7, 2026, with Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast as the main target area. The strike damaged homes, a kindergarten, the Northern Bridge and energy infrastructure, disrupted electricity, heating and water in Kyiv, and caused civilian casualties. Ukrainian authorities said 172 drones and 36 ballistic missiles were used, while the Air Force reported neutralizing four missiles and 149 drones by 09:00.
