Russia carried out a massive combined missile and drone attack on Ukraine overnight into 7 November 2026, focusing mainly on Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The strike damaged energy facilities, housing, a kindergarten, businesses and the Northern Bridge in Kyiv, disrupted electricity, heating and water services, and injured six people in the capital, including a child. One man in the Kyiv region later died in hospital.
