Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor announced on 4 November that they had completed the pre-trial investigation into the alleged “Midas” criminal organization. The network allegedly collected 10–15% kickbacks from state energy-sector contractors and received more than $111 million and nearly €12 million in illicit gains between December 2020 and November 2025.
