bipartisan US Senate inquiry targets Starshield restrictions and Russian diesel supply
Democrats in the US Senate are preparing investigations into the restrictions on SpaceX’s Starshield service in Ukraine and possible administration involvement in agreements to supply Russian diesel fuel. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee has sent document-preservation letters to Elon Musk, private companies, government agencies, ports and banks, with the inquiries expected to begin in January 2027 after Democrats gain control of Congress.
