FAXed the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) conducted searches on 4 November at senior officials of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), amid Operation "Carthage" into alleged corruption links among law-enforcement officials. NABU said a senior SBU official threatened detectives with a firearm and prevented them from entering the search site. The SBU confirmed the searches were court-ordered and said it was cooperating, while law-enforcement sources identified the official as General Serhii Duka.
