المحكمة تحتجز/apt General/former SBU general Serhii Duka under arrest in Ukraine's “Carthage” operation
Ukrainian anti-corruption authorities detained former SBU General Serhii Duka during the “Carthage” operation on 4 November 2026, and the Higher Anti-Corruption Court placed him under arrest for 60 days with a possible 100 million hryvnia bail. NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office say the operation exposed a criminal organization involving senior law-enforcement officials and criminal actors. The search of Duka's home was accompanied by what prosecutors say was armed resistance, leading the State Bureau of Investigation to open a case under Article 345 of the Criminal Code.
