Russian forces attacked Izyum with guided aerial bombs in the early morning of 2 November. Explosions were heard at 09:04 and 09:14. A bomb hit a four-story residential building, where at least three people were injured; the reported injured included men aged 24 and 67, women aged 61 and 85, and a 59-year-old woman who had an acute stress reaction. One person was killed. Cars caught fire, and a fire at a post office was also reported. Damage to high-voltage power lines left the entire city without electricity.
