Слідство підозрює у вбивстві Владислава Реута, чинного співробітника ГУР Міноборони, і Віталія Жиковича, колишнього співробітника СБУ; 9 липня суд взяв їх під арешт без права на заставу. За даними слідства, Реут і Жикович могли бути причетними й до нападу в Монако через неодноразові перекази коштів на рахунки Березовської.
