Ukrainian Economy Ministry prepares to further lower 2026 GDP growth forecast
Ukraine’s Ministry of Economy is preparing another downward revision to its 2026 GDP growth forecast, but has not finalized the new figure. The ministry says blocked seaports, intensified Russian shelling and the partial postponement of capital budget spending are weighing on the economy. It previously reduced the forecast from 2.4% to 1.6%.
